My work focuses on experiences and aspects of my life as a post-migrant person with roots in Togo.
I want to share the challenges I have faced—in particular, the difficulty of clearly defining the concept of “home” for myself.
Through my own illustrations, photographs, and snapshots, I incorporate visual elements to reflect on my experiences and elevate them to an abstract level.
I believe it is important to engage with one’s roots in order to better understand and appreciate one’s identity and origins.
